A Horrible Accident in Ladyville

There was an accident on the Philip Goldson Highway in Ladyville just in front of North Gas Station near the junction to the international airport. The amateur video footage we have obtained from onlookers immediately after the scene shows a woman dressed in red on the ground near the rear wheel of a dump truck. A resident on the scene told News Five that the dump truck was heading towards Belize City and when an SUV, coming from the opposite direction, slammed into the truck. Apparently, the woman was crushed between the two vehicles. Police arrived on the scene shortly after.  We’ll have more details on this road traffic accident in Friday’s newscast.
