Charles Itza Recovering from Gunshot Wound in Corozal Shooting
Earlier this week, a resident of Corozal Town came under gunfire during an attempt on his life. Charles Itza reported to police in that jurisdiction that he was riding a bicycle in an area of town when he was accosted by a lone gunman who shot him to the right leg. Additional details have been provided by the Commander of the National Crimes Investigation Branch.

“On Tuesday last, sometime around 8:45 pm, Charles Itza reported that whilst riding his bicycle on Santa Rita Road, he was attacked by a masked male person who fired shots towards his direction. As a result, he received one injury to his right leg. He is in a stable condition and at this point in time, even though we are following several leads and we have interviewed him, he does not have any named suspect.”
