A man is convicted for the sexual assault of his sister-in-law

Twenty-four-year-old Stephan Pasos was convicted today for inappropriately touching a twenty-one-year-old woman who is his sister-in-law. Pasos appeared before Magistrate Emerson Banner and pleaded guilty to sexual assault, telling the court that he was intoxicated when he committed the offense.  He was fined two thousand dollars plus a five dollar cost of court which he must pay by the end of March, 2019 to avoid imprisonment. The victim is a student at Wesley Junior College. She told the police that the incident happened before noon on Thursday when she visited her sister who lives in the Saint Martin De Porres area. According to the female she was cleaning the bathroom, when Pasos made sexual advances against her. She also told her sister about the incident.
