Referendum Survey Coincides with Public Awareness Campaign

A survey is being conducted simultaneously by the Referendum Unit, running parallel to the public awareness campaign.  According to Ambassador Alexis Rosado, the poll serves to ensure the satisfaction of participants in the education process.

“We have people going around the country, volunteers who have been getting feedback from the general public about the conduct of the public awareness campaign.  So, for example, we have been to a community, a village, whatever, we go, we give a presentation, we respond to questions, concerns and then what these people are doing is having a questionnaire by which they ask people, “Do you feel you have enough information on the campaign?  Do you feel you are well informed?  Where do you get most of your information?  Do you find that the presentations are useful?  Do you want more information without being welcomed.”
