Another City Shooting; No Suspects

Belize City resident Linsford Baldwin also fell victim to a gunman in the city over the weekend. Police say that sometime after nine on Saturday, twenty-eight-year-old Baldwin was shot to the upper body. ASP Alejandro Cowo says they don’t have a motive at this time and there are no known suspects.

“What Mr. Baldwin reported is that earlier in the night he was playing dominoes beside a garage on Ebony Street when he was approached by a male person who was riding a bicycle. The male person fired a single shot towards him which caused his injuries. The male person then rode towards Vernon Street and disappeared in the area. Up to now we don’t have a motive and we don’t have a suspect.”
