New chairperson appointed for N.C.F.C.
A new chairperson has been appointed to the National Committee for Families and Children. Sandra Hall, a former permanent secretary in the Ministry of Human Development, has replaced Myrtle Palacio as head of the N.C.F.C. since the beginning of October. Hall says her primary goal will be to ensure the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
