Three Board Members of the Police Association say they want Nothing to do with a Court Claim against the ComPol
The case brought by the Police Association against Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams is expected to come to the courts later this week. But, before that happens the internal affairs of the department are spilling all over the media. While the N.T.U.C.B. and the B.N.T.U. President are blasting the ComPol, today three members of the Board of the Association issued a strong statement against the President, Corporal Eldon Arzu. First, Jermaine Hyde, Holman Katanegie and Jane Usher are disassociating themselves from the claim. Second, they say that the case is the result of years of unscrupulous practices and total disregard for the association’s rules. According to the three cops, members contributed sixty-five thousand plus dollars in dues in 2018 and there has been no accountability for that money or for years past. They also claim that Corporal Arzu is making it seem as if he and the association are being victimized when in fact the members are being victimized by their own chairman.
