Prime Minister seeks hurricane relief in London
Prime Minister Said Musa has met with British officials to discuss assistance in the wake of Hurricane Iris. According to a government release, Musa held discussions with Secretary of State for International Development Clare Short, and Dr. Dennis McShane, the foreign office official in charge of Latin American Affairs. While in London the Prime Minister also called on Commonwealth Secretary General Don Mckinnon as well as Venezuelan President Hugh Chavez, who was also visiting the U.K. this week. Prime Minister Musa is expected to return home over the weekend.
