Inmate Charged for Sexually Assaulting a Security Officer
An inmate who is a prison trustee, who is serving an eleven-year sentence for manslaughter, has been charged with the sexual assault of a security officer. Thirty-two-year-old David Rosalez appeared before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford and picked up the sexual assault charge of a twenty-eight-year-old security officer which occurred back in 2018 at the Hattieville prison. He pleaded not guilty and was taken back to prison to continue serving his sentence. It is alleged that after she refused to allow him to touch her private parts, he grabbed her hands forcing her to touch him. The female security officer said she pulled away and that is when he zipped up his pants and left the room. On December eleventh, 2018, Rosalez was arraigned for exposing his person in public and for common assault upon the same female prison officer. Both cases have been adjourned for June twelfth, 2019.
