Shot in the Foot; Police Investigate Gun Violence in the City

But is the shooting of Warrior connected to another that occurred around this morning at a barracks located at the corner of Sarstoon and Ebony Streets? Around eight-thirty a.m., a gunman fired a single shot at a group of persons standing in the area. The men scattered for their lives, but unfortunately Keith Courtenay Junior was hit to the lower leg. He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. Inspector Ferrufino says that the incidents are not related, and shared details of what transpired.

“Sometime around eight-thirty a.m., police were called to the K.H.M.H. where they observed a gentleman, twenty-five-year-old Keith Courtenay Junior; he was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the right foot. Mister Courtenay indicated that he was on Sibun Street at a residence when a gunman passed and fired a single shot which caught him on his foot. He has been treated and is scheduled to be released.”
