Robbers Strike at 2 Gas Depots in 1 Day
Robbers hit two gas depots on Tuesday. The first robbery happened at the BWEL gas depot just after two-thirty on Tuesday afternoon. Police were called out to mile fifteen on the George Price Highway where twenty-six-year-old Delroy Buckner reported a man with a gun approached him at his workplace and proceeded to rob him of an undisclosed amount of cash. The second incident happened around eight-thirty on Tuesday night at Tomza Gas at one and a half miles on the George Price Highway. Manager Jose Lionel told police that he was at the gas depot attending to a customer when a vehicle drove up and a man exited. He pointed a gun at Lionel and robbed the business of an unknown quantity of money and a cell phone. Police are investigating these robberies.
