Jorge Espat resigns from Cabinet?

There are strong, rumours tonight, it has not been confirmed officially, but apparently Minister of National Security Jorge Espat has submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Musa. He apparently did this Monday night. But as I said, this has not been confirmed or denied as yet.”

“And do we know why he has decided to do this?”

It can only be assumed that after his passing out address of the police recruit squad, there was dissention in the ranks with the rest of the party and they did not approve of what he said obviously. And I guess under those circumstances, he felt it his necessary move. But apparently the word is that he has submitted his resignation from the Cabinet. What happens now, whether it’s a Cabinet reshuffle or whether it means the Ministry of National Security will go to another minister, I don’t know.”
