Goldson to be buried on Monday
Funeral services for political icon Philip S.W. Goldson were officially announced earlier today. According to a government press release, Goldson’s body will be brought back to Belize on Saturday and will be met by the Belize Defence Force Guard of Honour at the airport. On Monday, his body will be received at the Holy Redeemer Cathedral, where it will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. before funeral services at 2:00. The interment will be at the Lord Ridge Cemetery. Government has ordered that all flags countrywide be flown at half-mast starting at twelve noon on Saturday until after the burial services.
