22 pounds of cocaine in container from U.S.
It’s not often that someone who finds a bag of “white lady” turns it over to the police, but that’s just what happened on Tuesday night. According to police, workers from Macmillan Brothers on Chetumal Street in Belama were off-loading a container imported from Miami when they found a blue bag. A check of its contents revealed nine parcels of white powder. Workers immediately called the police who verified the substance was indeed cocaine, with the parcels weighing in at close to twenty-two pounds. Police are trying to find out who sent the bag and who was supposed to pick it up, but they have yet to make any arrests.
