Five men detained in kidnapping case
Five people have been detained by police for questioning in the kidnapping of three men and a woman on Monday. Police have not identified the detainees, but News 5 understands that they are all men and were picked up from various parts of country. Apparently, the men have had various levels of involvement with the missing persons. According to reports, on Monday, Harry Sheran, his brother-in-law Ricardo Riverol, and employees Claudia Lopez and Carlos Lopez, were on Sheran’s farm, Montana Ranch, when three tinted SUV’s drove up to the farm and abducted all four of them. They have not been seen or heard from since. The kidnapping occurred just one day after Sheran’s wife, Juana Riverol Sheran, was found strangled in her home in Chetumal, Mexico. The case took another bizarre twist when a police search of Montana Ranch led to the discovery of a drum of aviation fuel, communication equipment, several vehicles and a thirty-one foot Mexican skiff with motor. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the police immediately.
