Hardware Store Robbed in San Ignacio
The second robbery happened in San Ignacio Town. Around two on Tuesday afternoon, two clear complexion men entered Julie’s Hardware on Blue Bird Street. The owner of the store told police that one of the men pretended to be a customer and when she attempted to serve him that is when she was held up. ASP Alejandro Cowo says that the men got away with some cash and personal electronics.

“They spoke with Maria Fraser who reported to the police that while she was inside the business establishment, two male persons entered. These two persons are of clear complexion, suspected to be of Hispanic descent; one of them had a bag of bottles, which he took to the store. While she was speaking to the male person, he took out a firearm and pointed it at her and robbed her of a cell phone, tablet and a small amount of cash. Thereafter, the two male persons left onboard of a motorcycle. So far, police have not detained anyone and we do not have the identity of the two robbers.”
