No Suspects in Valley of Peace Robbery
Three separate businesses in the Cayo District were robbed this week. On Monday night sometime around eight, cops responded to an armed robbery in Valley of Peace Village where three armed men held up a grocery store owner. The men assaulted the owner and got away with cash and a licensed pistol. Police say that while they don’t have any suspects, they know that a vehicle transported the robbers to the scene but that they left running. ASP Alejandro Cowo shares details of the robbery.

“Police visited Valley of Peace Road where they spoke to the proprietor Mister Tan Pan, owner of Tommy’s Store. He reported that just before eight o’clock while he was inside his business establishment, a green in color vehicle stopped where three male persons came out of the vehicle; all of them were dressed in camouflage clothing. Armed with firearms, they entered the store and held him at gunpoint. He was robbed of two thousand five hundred dollars and his licensed nine mm pistol. Thereafter the persons made good their escape from the premises. Up to now police have detained no one in regards to this report.”
