Belize City Man Stabbed while Socializing
A Belize City man is hospitalized after he was stabbed in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Police say that forty-one-year-old Delbert Quilter was socializing when he got into an argument with another man. It was during that misunderstanding that Quilter was stabbed in the chest. Cops say they don’t know much about what led to the incident and have only been able to gather few details after they were called to the K.H.M.H. on Wednesday morning.

“On arrival they met Delbert Quilter. He had a single stab wound to the right side of his chest. He relayed to police that he was at a residence at the corner of Mussel and Vernon Streets when he got in a dispute with a known individual to him who inflicted the stab wound. He is in a stable condition at the hospital. I don’t have any details in regards to the nature of the dispute. He only relayed that there was some misunderstanding which led to the stabbing.”
