Speeding Vehicle Piles Up in Grave at Lord’s Ridge Cemetery
Construction got underway earlier today to repair a tomb that was destroyed over the Easter weekend at the Lord’s Ridge Cemetery. While no one was seriously injured when a vehicle collided into the grave, the burial chamber on the edge of the George Price Highway was completely destroyed. It is not the first time that motorists have crashed into the cemetery. This afternoon, a team of employees from the Belize City Council was on hand to cast and plaster a new tomb. The matter was not raised during today’s police press brief, despite a request for comment.
