San Pedro family finds divine inspiration
In news from San Pedro a woman from that island town is looking for an explanation for the mysterious appearance of what she says is an image of the crucifixion, which has appeared in her house. Elena Lara told News 5 that on September eighteenth she decided to wash some pillows sewn in the shape of balloons, which decorated the wall of her daughter’s bedroom–even though the pillows were not dirty. After the washing, she put them out in the sun to dry. Twenty minutes later Lara noticed that six of the pillows had developed a “stain” in the middle. She kept looking at the pillows and eventually noticed that one carried a striking resemblance to Jesus on the cross. She took the image as a message of faith and at the same time noticed that for no apparent reason a strong smell of roses permeated the house for about three hours. Numerous San Pedranos have visited the Lara residence to share the experience and Elena believes that the vision is linked to recent terrorist events in the United States. The message, she says, is that God is about love and not revenge…and humanity must follow His teachings.
