Police Look for Gunman inside “the Jungle”

Police have detained one man and are looking for another suspect in connection with a shooting incident that happened on Freetown Road on Sunday morning. Police say that shortly after the shooting incident on Albert Street, two other persons carried out a shooting on Freetown Road. Surveillance footage shows a man running across the street with a gun in his hand chasing after another man who is seen fleeing on Freetown Road. The gunman then fires in the direction of a store. Police say that immediately following the shooting, they carried out an operation in an area called Jungle.  ASP Alejandro Cowo tells us more.

“After the incident on Albert Street, there were some shots fired in the Freetown area and police were pursuing suspect. In the execution of trying to capture this person, they used tear gas and pepper spray to capture this person but he still managed to get away from police. Police are looking for him and they have detained another one who was with him.”
