Karl Tillett Sr., dead at 66
Well-known Belizean educator, sportsman and scoutmaster, Karl Tillett Senior, has died. He passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. Tillett taught for over forty years at the primary level in the Stann Creek Valley, Monkey River, Corozal and Central Farm. A softball enthusiast, he has served as manager, coach and official. Tillett leaves behind a wife, Mary, and four children: Karl Jr., Glenn, Kenworth and Karla. Karl Tillett, dead at sixty-six.
