Diesel Goes Up by Three Cents
If you went to the gas stations today you may have noticed a slight increase in the cost of diesel oil. That increase is because the price for diesel went up by three cents at the pumps last night. The cost per gallon jumped from ten dollars and forty-three cents to ten dollars and forty-six cents. The Ministry of Finance announced the increase in a release on Thursday evening. The release goes on to say that fires at facilities in the U.S.A. have impacted the production and output of gasoline in that country. The Ministry says that there will be a big meeting next month where the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies will discuss a way forward on oil production, and its effect on price under these market conditions.
