2 Shot, 1 Critical in Pelican Street Shooting

By ten-thirty that night, shots rang out on Pelican Street Extension and two persons were injured. Three men were standing on the street corner in front of the home of Jamal Palacio when two men approached on a motorcycle. One of them then pulled out a gun and opened fire at the trio. Palacio was hit in the thumb and has since been treated and released, but his friend, Justin Stuart, a resident of Belmopan, was hit twice to the abdomen and remains critical at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. ASP Alejandro Cowo told the media that the shooting is linked to that of Ronald Michael.
