Queen Square Belongs to Sista B, Says PM Barrow
While there won’t be any general elections held before November 2020, there is still time for a few candidates to find a constituency should they be interested in representing the United Democratic Party. So, will Attorney General Michael Peyrefitte, who lost in a convention to former councilor Phillip Willoughby in Port Loyola, be placed in another constituency? PM Barrow says that certainly the Queen Square Division is off limits.

“Is there any indication that Senator Peyrefitte will in fact be contesting the leadership convention?”
Prime Minister Dean Barrow
“Isn’t he somewhere around? You should ask him. I don’t know of any but he is the best person to ask.”
Reporter
“Is it opening up to anymore candidates?”
Prime Minister Dean Barrow
“To leadership? No, that’s always open, that’s never been closed. That’s not Caribbean Shores.”

“You have to be a member of parliament.”

“So the word is that he will be placed in Queen Square I believe. Is that true or not?”
Prime Minister Dean Barrow
“Queen Square is for Sista Barrow who again proved her worth… So how on earth could I ever say to my sister that it can be anybody but her? She is most deserving. She is the one who is running that constituency for the last what, three elections and she’s done wonderfully well. I think when she is on her own she will win by an even bigger margin.”
