2 More Suspects Charged in Mile 44 Attack
Twenty-four-year-old Felipe Guzman and twenty-eight-year-old Rasheed Hyde, both of a Santa Elena address, have been arrested and charged for aggravated burglary, following an incident near mile forty-four on the George Price Highway on May fourteenth. It is alleged that both men acted in concert with Justin Banner and Luis Castellanos in carrying out an armed robbery at a farm near mile forty-four on the George Price Highway.
During the holdup, twenty-one-year-old Juan Garcia, a watchman on the premises, was tied up inside the security booth by four men who were armed. Garcia was beaten and robbed of cash. While police quickly caught up with two of the suspected robbers, they were finally able to apprehend the remaining suspects and bring charges against them.
