Who Wants Guatemalan National Edin Perez Dead & Why?

Who wants Guatemalan national Edin Garcia Perez dead and why, is still up in the air tonight as police officers continue to investigate a shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday night Armenia Village, Cayo. Perez remains hospitalized after he was shot multiple times by a gunman. Around eight-thirty p.m., four persons arrived at Perez’s home and called for him by name; when he opened the door, he recognised the men, one of whom opened fire at him. He was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital where he is recovering. While there are many speculations, police are yet to determine a motive for the crime.

“Sometime around nine p.m., while he was inside his home, he was called out of his home where he got his flashlight and opened his door and upon entering his veranda, he observed four male persons whom he recognized—one of whom fired several shots towards his direction causing his injuries. So far, police are seeking four persons in relation to this investigation.”

Reporting

“Indications from the village chairman is that the victim is a hard working person and isn’t a problem or troublesome person. Have the police unearthed the motive as to why the particular victim was targeted?”

“Well we are following several leads and we are also looking at several motives based on the information that we have been given, which at this point in time, I am not in a position to disclose those motives until a proper motive has been established.”
