Man’s body found on Albert Street
If you use Albert Street to get to work in the morning, no doubt you’ve seen your fair share of strewn bodies trying to sleep off hangovers. But this morning one man lying on the street wasn’t sleeping. He was dead. Reports are that the man, identified as fifty-three year old Peter Williams, had just crossed the bridge and was walking towards the downtown area when he collapsed. He lay there for several minutes before someone called the authorities. Williams was taken to the K.H.M.H. where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Investigations are now pending the result of a post-mortem, but police say they do not suspect foul play.
