September Celebrations Committee Looking for 2019 Theme

Meanwhile the deadline for the submission for the September celebrations theme is July twenty-first. All Belizeans, even those living overseas, have an opportunity to submit a theme – something dear to their hearts, patriotic, but ten words or less.

“The criteria is very simple. Be a Belizean either at home or abroad, send in your theme to by email, septembercelebrations@gmail.com, and make sure it is ten words or less. That’s it. So we are looking forward to a multitude of entries as we normally get. We get quite a few hundreds of entries and as previously mentioned on OYE, it ranges from journalists to songwriters to high school and primary school students. So it is always welcomed what we get and we are really excited about this year.”
