Businesswoman still missing, $10,000 reward offered
There are still no leads in the disappearance of sixty-eight year old Rosa Christina Cornejo, but tonight family members are offering a reward for information leading to her safe return. The businesswoman of Calle Las Americas in Belmopan went missing between Friday and Saturday of last week. On Tuesday, one of Cornejo’s Children from El Salvador came to assist in the search for her mother and today is offering a reward of ten thousand dollars to anyone that can help bring Cornejo home. Cornejo has a heart condition and has not been taking her medication and now the worse is feared. Belmopan police believe that Cornejo was tricked by a friend to leave her home around eight-thirty last Friday night and has since disappeared. It was the following morning when the housekeeper reported to work that she discovered the front gate and back door wide open and Cornejo’s pick-up truck gone.
