Man charged with murder in Belize City stabbing
Police have arrested and charged Roderick Williams, a thirty-two year old Fisherman of East Canal in Belize City with murder. Reports are that on Friday Williams tried to steal money from Glen Francis, a fifty-three year old fish scraper, who was working in the Conch Shell Bay area of the city. Francis reportedly grazed Williams with the knife he was using to clean his fish; as a result, an argument started resulting in Francis being stabbed in the chest. Francis was taken to K.H.M.H., but died of his injuries around midday Sunday.
