Police Charge 1 Man for Carlos Reyes’ Murder
Police have charged twenty-five-year-old Belize City resident Starling Perez for the crime of murder. Perez stands accused of killing forty-eight-year-old Carlos Reyes who was gunned down on March twenty-eighth, while inside his own house in Dangriga Town. Reyes was with thirty-year-old Israel Pimentel of Sarawee village, at his home on Citron Street when they came under gunfire. Reyes, who was a fisherman, as shot at least eight times, while Pimentel was shot in his abdomen. Reyes was making lobster traps when he came under attack. His body was found in the kitchen. The gunman escaped in a white vehicle.
