Belize Signs Grant for Solid Waste Improvement
A grant of five hundred thousand U.S. dollars to improve Belize’s capabilities in managing solid waste has been signed by the government and I.D.B. Country Representative Doctor Cassandra Rogers. The agreement is for the implementation of a non-reimbursable grant for technical cooperation to promote the reduction and recovery of municipal solid waste generation and contributing to the expansion of coverage of municipal solid waste management to rural areas.
