Expansion Project to Increase Success of Early Childhood Development

Speaking about expansion, Faber also spoke about his ministry acquiring funding through a loan from the Caribbean Development Bank to install additional preschools across the country. Minister Faber says that the country has trained teachers to ensure that there is strong foundation in early childhood development.

“There is a CDB loan where we are building quite a number of schools at the secondary, primary, but a majority of those schools is at the preschool level. We believe in our children getting a very strong start, a strong solid foundation and we continue to see success in that area. We now see tremendous success in the number of trained teachers at the preschool and the early childhood level for infants and for us that is going to spell major success down the road and we are absolutely looking forward for that.”
