Case Management Set to Begin for Accused Murderer WPC Michelle Brown

Michelle Brown

Twenty-five-year-old police constable Michelle Brown, accused of the December 2017 murder of businessman Fareed Ahmad, appeared before Justice Colin Williams this morning.  A plea of not guilty was taken from her, despite the absence of her attorney, Senior Counsel Simeon Sampson.  The matter has been adjourned to September nineteenth when case management is set to begin.  Following case management, a date may be set for the matter to be heard in trial.  Michelle Brown has been on remand since December 28th, 2018 after being indicted for the murder of the well-known thirty-seven-year-old Muslim barber.  The incident occurred between miles sixteen and seventeen on the George Price Highway.
