An Elderly Resident is Knocked Down and Killed in San Antonio
An elderly resident of San Antonio Village lost his life earlier this week after being struck by a vehicle while he was attempting to board a commuter bus. Eighty-year-old Pablo Ack was knocked down and killed as he made his way across the road toward the waiting bus. Police have since detained the driver of the cargo truck and served him with an NIP.

“On Monday last, sometime around 9:30 a.m., Punta Gorda Police were called to the San Antonio Polyclinic where they observed the apparent lifeless body of Pablo Ack, eighty-years-old of the said village. What the police know so far is that just before the accident had occurred, Pablo Ack was in the process of crossing the road to board a passenger bus and in the process he was knocked down by a white cargo truck. The driver has since been detained for the truck. He was served with a notice of intended prosecution whilst the investigation is still ongoing.”
