Body of drowning victim found
Since Monday, he plunged into the waters of the Belize River and in the wee hours of this morning, the body of forty-eight year old Desmond Kerr was retrieved from near the Haulover Bridge about a mile away from Bainton Bank. Around three-thirty this morning, members of the Coast Guard and police scouring the area found Kerr’s decomposed body floating in the river. This afternoon a post-mortem examination revealed that Kerr died from asphyxia due to drowning.
