Robbers raid realtor in Belmopan

Belmopan police are on the lookout for two men who held up and robbed Belstate Realtors Limited. The incident took place just before 10:00 this morning on Belize Street, a residential area of the city. According to proprietor Calvin Neal, at first he did not know the men had come to rob him and when they entered the office he told them to have a seat because he was attending to a customer. The men instead pointed a gun in his face and proceeded to rob him of his cash pan of money and cell phone. What the men did not realize, was that the customer standing in front of them was a police constable who had gone to the establishment to reinsure his vehicle. Unfortunately, P.C. Shal could not do anything at the time the robbery was being committed, but did pull out his weapon and fired shots, which missed the men, as they ran away. The men were dark skinned and did not wear masks.
