The number one entertainment show is back – KTV the Remix, Season Three is poised to top all expectations this season. You’ve seen the auditions and tonight, the competition begins on stage. So who made the cut and who is the mystery judge? It will all be revealed at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts as a pool of talented vocalists battle it out for the ten thousand dollars cash and much more in prizes.
William Neal, Host, KTV the Remix, Season Three
“We have some changes that will such the audience in and if you come to the Bliss the experience is quite different from you staying at home, while we encourage you to have your watching parties at home; we would love for you to join us at the Bliss. And to incentivise attendance at the Bliss we even have a hundred dollar giveaway in addition to some other giveaways throughout the course of the night. Of course during the breaks we have entertainment. You come and you participate and you get the full experience that is KTV. For a staple within KTV happens to be the judges and we are changing out one judge its year and we are not going to reveal who that judge is until tonight when the show actually starts. But it promises to be a good addition because in terms of the diversity among the panel it will bring something who will be I can say younger than the others but a very skilled individual as well. So that is a welcome addition to the panel of judges.”
…and speaking about a new judge, there are some new features to the show that are bound to add to the fun and suspense. Host, William Neal, says that a battle round has been incorporated into the show.
“We’ll also have some other features within the show that will be more interactive and will give the audience a good chance to see that as an artist you have to be able to grow. It will allow the audience to see how the artist matches up when compared to somebody else. So we will have a battle round and you will get an opportunity to have two of the artist actually sing the same song and you determine who is better. It’s a good marker, it’s a good measuring stick because they will be on good footing. So tonight promises to be a great bunch again you have a crop of young artist who are extremely talented and the beauty about KTV is it pushes artist on a weekly basis. We will still have our different genres on the wheel and so they will be able to you know chose something that is outside their comfort zone and you will see that they are not a one trick pony. So it’s going to be a very interesting night and they’re going to have a lot of fun as we embark on this season. Less participants but the format of the show will make it more engaging.”
If you did not get a ticket to make it the Bliss, you can tune in to our Facebook page at KTV the Remix for our live online streaming of the show. While at time viewers can be super critical and outrageous about the performances in their commentary, it is also an online marketing tool that can be used by the participants to flip those comments into votes.
William Neal
“Unfortunately, the world is not a kind place and if you are going to be an artist it means that you are offering yourself up for public scrutiny. You have to at all times be constantly building up yourself and becoming more authentic you. And I think what this does it puts you under a microscope and you will have to determine then if this is what you want. Any artist has to market themselves; whether it is Beyonce or Bob Marley or whomever there is a marketing strategy that you have to employ. And I think the social media component of it has to do with that. Quite a number of the artist come and they have sponsors, they have friends who support them. I think it is a great opportunity for you as an artist to evolve within a very short period of time. Stretch yourself and stretch your skin because it means that you have to have a thick skin. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely worth the ride; the journey is amazing.”
