Murder Trial Again William “Danny” Mason Et. Al. Resumes
The criminal trial against accused murderer William “Danny” Mason and his associates, Terrence Fernandez, Ashton Vanegas, Keiron Fernandez, and Ernest Castillo, finally resumed today in the Belmopan Supreme Court after several adjournments. The trial is continuing at a point that is very crucial to the prosecution. A vior dire commenced today to determine if the caution statements of one of the accused will be submitted into evidence. Three witnesses gave testimonies. The trial, which is being tried by Justice Antoinette Moore, will continue on Wednesday. Mason is being represented by Guyanese attorney Dexter Todd. Terence and Keiron Fernandez are being represented by Iliana Swift and Bryan Neal, respectively. Attorney Norman Rodriguez is representing Ashton Vanegas, while Ernest Castillo is represented by Baja Shoman. The men stand accused of beheading Pastor Llewellyn Lucas three years ago, in July 2016. The pastor’s severed head was found in s picket in a Ford-150 truck belonging to Mason.
