Man Charged for Theft of $42,000 from Buca Shell in Ladyville
Tonight a former Buca Shell employee is in trouble with the law. He is twenty-five-year-old Victor Ayuso, a resident of Orange Walk, who appeared this morning before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson to answer to a charge of theft to which he pleaded not guilty. Allegations are that between January fourteenth, 2019 and June twenty-eighth, 2019, he stole forty-two thousand dollars from Buca Shell in Ladyville on the Phillip Goldson Highway. Ayuso secured bail of five thousand dollars plus one surety and is due back in court on September twelfth, 2019. He is accused of filling out receipts from another company and taking the cash from the proceeds of the sale of fuel. The misappropriation was found during an audit and Ayuso was sent packing.
