Belmopan school burglarised
No gun was used, but the Belmopan Comprehensive School was also relieved of money, specifically ten thousand dollars in cash and one thousand, five hundred in cheques. Acting principal Barrette Belisle told police that the money was in an iron safe which was stolen when the office was burglarised sometime between 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 4:00 a.m. on Thursday. Police say they have since detained one man for questioning.
