Chinese shopkeeper stabbed by countryman
Another violent incident in a Chinese owned establishment was reported on Monday, but it did not conform to the familiar pattern. Around 7:00 p.m. police were called to Yan Pei Restaurant on Freetown Road where they found Yan Jan Long suffering from a stab wound to the stomach. It was no local gangbanger who did the deed, however. According to Yan, it was another Chinese man who wielded the knife following a difference of opinion. Twenty-four year old So Shiu Wah has been charged in the incident.
