Police Need Eyewitnesses to Assist with Ladyville Shooting

Tyrique Munnings

Tyrique Munnings is at the K.H.M.H. in a critical condition after he was shot several times on Thursday night.  Munnings was in the Milpa Area of Ladyville when a lone gunman pulled out a firearm and blasted several bullets in his direction.  He lay wounded on the side of the street with gunshot injuries to his arm, knee, leg and calf.  According to reports, the gunman wore a black hoodie, black shirt and jeans pants when he emerged from an open lot and pounced on his target.  When Munnings saw the gunman coming, he ran but his attacker followed and continued shooting at him.  The victim managed to arrive home, but collapsed a few feet away from his front door.  He was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he is receiving medical attention. At the scene, police found seven expended nine-millimetre shells. Police are looking for two persons of the same area for questioning.

“Police have been speaking to the family reference the shooting of Tyrique Munnings and we are still trying to convince them to give Police a statement in regards to what transpired that evening. We are asking the public out there to please come and assist us. We know that several persons were out there who saw what happened and police have been trying to speak to these persons but up to now we have not been able to secure a statement from any of them. Mr. Munnings is still in the hospital in a critical but stable condition at this time.”
