Supermarket robbed in Belize City
A popular Belize City supermarket has been targeted by robbers. Around 4:30 on Thursday afternoon two men with rags tied around their faces, one of whom held a pistol, entered Malic’s store on Mahogany Street. They attacked the security guard, David Okomeah, and proceeded to hold up the cashier. The gunman escaped with six hundred and thirty-six dollars in cash and one hundred and seventy-five dollars in cheques. No suspects have yet been apprehended.
