Trio Busted with .38 Revolver and Ammo
Three men have been charged for firearm offenses. They are Kurt Morgan, Ernest Thompson, and Naim Sanchez. The trio was busted by San Ignacio police on Friday evening with a point thirty-eight revolver and five live rounds. The men were in a Toyota Corolla taxi when they were intercepted by police officers. During the interception, one of the men in the vehicle threw the firearm into the bushes. Investigators would not speculate if the men were on their way to commit a crime, but according to ACP Joseph Myvett, the men are no stranger to the law.

“As a resulted police motioned the driver of the vehicle that they would conduct a search in the vehicle as those persons were known to the police. As a result the vehicle was stopped and o board the police found one Kurt Morgan of a San Ignacio Town address, Ernest Thompson of an Esperanza address and Naim Sanchez. Also on the scene when the police motion them to stop one of the occupants was observed throwing out an object which when received by the police was found to be a thirty eight revolver that was load with five rounds of ammunition. Subsequently they were detained and taken to the San Ignacio police station where they have been since arrested and charged for possession unlicensed firearm and possession of unlicensed ammunition.”
