Vince Martinez to Take Action against BPD

According to Martinez, what hurts most is finding out that the victim is the son of a childhood friend.  He says that he is preparing to take legal action against the police department.

“I feel unhappy because I get fi find out that this guy Major that get shot me and his father from little boys we were really good friends. And it was shocking for me to see that the same police that shot me shoot my friend son, kill him. I don’t think he mi business out on the street; he mi supposed to deh pan interdiction, as far as I am concerned because I still mi di wait fi hear something, but up to now, I still noh di hear nothing.”

“What is your course of action next? I mean this has to be the most coincidental if not the most alarming development in terms of the incident that involved you. What do you plan to do going forward knowing that this is the same individual, you know that you have perhaps gone to the police department to pursue some means of justice internally? What are you planning to do now?”

“Well still waiting to see some justice and I mi already get an attorney and I have all mi documents and stuff to the attorney. So I just di wait on the attorney to give a call. But I still want to proceed with charges against this officers because he is really trigger happy or something or the other because the way how he shoot me for nothing, no reason at all, and nothing become out of it, I could never happy with that.”
