P.M. Barrow returns from Summit of the Americas
The three-day Summit of the Americas in Port of Spain, Trinidad concluded on Sunday with the signing and adoption of the Declaration of Port of Spain by host country’s Prime Minister Patrick Manning. But what does it mean for Belize as a member of CARICOM? And what was Obama’s message to countries he views as mere tax havens for wealthy Americans? Chairman of CARICOM and Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow returned to Belize from the Summit today and tomorrow Barrow will speak at a press conference at which he is expected to answer many questions on the summit.
