P.M. heads to El Salvador summit
Leaving Belize today for El Salvador was Prime Minister Said Musa. He will attend a summit of Central American Heads of Government, convened to discuss the Plan Puebla/Panama initiative. The Plan Puebla, which seeks to promote development from Southern Mexico to Panama, requires co-ordinated action by the governments and private sectors of the eight countries involved. Accompanying the P.M. are Ambassadors Sal Figueroa and Darwin Gabourel, and Edith Gahona from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prime Minister Musa returns to Belize on Friday.
