Who Targeted Lloyd Faber and Why?

He is well-known to the law, and on Tuesday afternoon around three o’clock, Lloyd Faber was targeted by a gunman on Amara Avenue, Belize City.  Faber was socializing with a friend when a gunman drove up in a vehicle and opened fire at him. He was later seen ailing on the pavement and within minutes was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he has been treated and released. Police have yet to determine who targeted Faber, but investigation continues.

“Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they observed Mister Lloyd Faber suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. What police established is that he was along with another friend sitting somewhere on Amara Avenue when a vehicle stop, someone exit the vehicle and fired shots at him causing the injuries to him. Fortunately it was a minor graze that he received; he was treated and discharged on the same night.”
